A Spanish startup with Russian roots wanted to create a marketplace app—a “Tinder” for anyone offering services and those looking to hire them. With no in-house technical expertise, they chose MVP Garage for its reasonable pricing and rapid development approach. We created the initial design based on references from the client, built a NextJS backend for data storage and business logic, and developed a 97-screen mobile app on Flutter that supports Spanish, English, and Russian. Although the project was planned for 30 calendar days, it took 35 due to the large number of screens, which was agreed upon in advance. After a successful test with around 3,000 users, the startup confirmed market interest in Southern Europe. They then decided to redesign the interface and switch the database from MySQL to MongoDB. Since MVP Garage specializes in MVPs and quick custom development, the client chose to hand off further development and the complete source code to another studio.
